The pride of Kenmare is shining brighter than ever, as both senior teams of Kenmare Shamrocks GAA Club have secured promotion in their respective county leagues—an outstanding achievement that reflects the dedication, talent, and spirit of the entire squad.
Our Division 2 team capped off a superb league campaign by topping the table, sealing promotion with a hard-fought draw against a strong An Ghaeltacht side on the final day. Their consistency and resilience across the season have earned them a well-deserved place among Kerry’s top footballing ranks.
Not to be outdone, our Division 6 team also celebrated promotion after a spirited draw away to Milltown/Castlemaine, which guaranteed their rise to Division 5. This young and determined side has shown fantastic growth, teamwork, and hunger throughout the league, and their promotion is a testament to the strength in depth at the club.
This double promotion marks a significant milestone for the Shamrocks, reflecting the club’s continued commitment to excellence and development at all levels. Well done to the players, management teams, backroom staff, and loyal supporters who stood behind the lads every step of the way.
